I spent most of my time today writing my article on the school's STEM magazine Lucidity. Since the theme for this issue is "Science and Art", I guessed it would be fascinating to model the intricate art of the trajectory of a double pendulum system using Lagrangian Mechanics. Since I have already made a video about this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkQCHd6CBJM), I was able to finish my writing quite quickly. It is always great fun writing about physics :)
Since I am also in charge of editing in the Lucidity team, I had a go at editing one of the younger student's article. Indeed, since the student is only in year 7, there were numerous basic mistakes the student has made. It reminded me of my writing skills back when I was as young as he was, which was worse if not as bad as his. Since I was able to improve my writing skills over the past few years, I am more than sure that he will also be able to do so :)
