Cone shape experiment (4): fuel mixture test

The first attempt at making the fuel for the rockets that are to be used for the cone shape experiment was done as shown below:

These are the equipments needed for the experiment.

Sugar and potassium nitrate were mixed together and heated to make the first version of the rocket fuel. Below is a test video of how a small portion of this fuel combusts in air.
