A device that allows a super-heavy objects to fly at extreme speeds and for terrifying distances... Curiosity brought me to wonder how such device was able to be engineered by the intellectual capabilities of human. This led to me to start my long-term investigation on turbojet engines. By the end of the investigation, hopefully, I would be able to 3d-print a diminished model of a turbojet engine and enrich myself with the aerodynamical principles behind how a turbojet engine works.
I figured it would be better to make the 3d model before I move on to the research part, since during the process of designing the model I would be able to get a basic idea about the components the form turbojet engines and how they operate. I started with designing the combustion chamber of the turbojet engine, which is about 1/15 of the design done. I will be referring to the YouTube video by Learn Engineering to create my 3d model. I am very excited to move on to the next part, which is going to be designing the compressor. After the model is finished, videos of the complete designing process and rendered images of the different components will be uploaded to my 3D CAD Modeling Website. Feel free to browse!
